Hunter has many established partnerships and agreements with different colleges and universities. For each university, university or owner school you have attended, official transcripts must be provided. Candidates do not have the power to omit part of their educational history. Failure to do so may result in a five-year closure of CUNY. Notes from the university`s previous appropriations are not transferred; Hunter`s student average is calculated exclusively on the basis of the work done at Hunter College. As a general rule, credits obtained through participation in university courses are transferred by other higher education institutions and regionally accredited universities, provided that the courses are proportional to those offered at Hunter College for loans. A maximum of 70 credits can be transferred by associated granting institutions and 90 credits from Baccalaureate Granting institutions. Joint agreements with community universities allow students with associate degrees in certain majors to attend a corresponding major at a higher school, with total recognition for community school courses. Alternate admission programs provide students with a smoother path to rigorous bachelor`s and postgraduate programs. The articulation agreements for cuny community colleges are as follows: students who have obtained an AA, AS or AAS degree from a CUNY college should receive 60 transfers. Students with an AA or AS degree from a CUNY community college are considered common core requirements of CUNY Pathways.
